I am very delighted with the floor brush. The brush glides with ease on my hardwood floors. The brushes are very docile on the floor too. The attachment fits well on my Kirby vacuum.
I enjoy old dark hardwood floors that never looked clean by sweeping them with a broom or using a dusting mop. This floor brush works wonderfully. The brushes pick up all the fine dust left on the floor by the previous methods and the floor is left very verbs. You have to vacuum off the lint and dust that collects on the brushes frequently but that just means it is doing a great chore.
My wife hated the original Kirby attachment that this one replaced. The old one didn't have wheel and the bristles would come out all the time. This new one is much better. This brush eliminates the angle attachment as well (both are within the trash now). An added feature is that by rotating the handle, the brush will turn and get into corners and such.
suction opening too small
The brushes are fine, it's just the hole that the upper air flows through is small and doesn't reach either side. so I'm not sure how the design is supposed to help you vacuum anything.
An improvement of the OEM attachment
Purchased this to replace the floor attachment that came with my Kenmore vacuum. This floor brucsh is almost 3 times wider, have much fuller brushes and wheels.
Limited pivot motion compared to others
