I had an Empire Level 6100 measuring tape when I worked for the State of Oregon and had to consider facilities and determine the square footage on a regular basis. This tape was unfaultable as it is 100 feet long and easy to roll up with the handle placement.
I moved out State employment and had to leave the tape behind.
A couple years passed and they call me back to work. I asked for my Empire tape measure back but the party who initially took my place would not give it up! So I went on-line and bought another one. I am just as happy as I be initially with it. Works wonderfully and is doesn't cut you like those steel ones!
