Bought these speakers for my boat. They required a slightly larger mounting hole-and after adjectives found out they are also too deep for my boat.
Will use in my truck and get a different style/company for my boat
2 of the 4 speakers on our boat broke. We order 2 (at about $23/each) planning to singular replace the broken ones. We really wanted a matched set, but couldn't justify paying close to $100 for 4 when we really only needed 2. We were pleasantly surprised when respectively order was actually a pair of speakers. For underneath $50 we now have 4 matching speakers that look and sound great.
Absolutely no complaints.
Had two of these surrounded by my old boat. I bought four for my new boat.
Listen, they aren't the best sounding speakers but they are loud. If you are looking for quality "sound", don't buy these. If you are looking for loud, durable and cheap, this is your speaker!
Be sure to check your existing hole size...these were a touch larger than my old ones and I had to re-cut the openings in the boat.
Slow shipper, look elsewhere
I ordered 2 sets of speakers over a week ago. The ship date from Amazon said "The 7th", It is now the 8th and still no shipment of my speakers.

I was pleaseantly surprised to find 2 speakers came with this submit. This made a whole lot more sense for the money however, the description of the item says nothing about a duo...
Be aware of your measurements
Please be aware that the speaker states it is a 6.5 inch speaker, but the opening it requires is 8 inches. Do not be fooled.
Review
I used these speakers to replace 4 blown 6.5" speakers in my Saturn. they fit perfectly once the faceplate be removed (removed by taking out 4 screws on the back).

I really like the look and quality of these speakers. I feel I got a large amount on them. Good buy! Boss seams like a good company.

Easy Installation and if the box enclosure is made to specification the nouns quality is great. I mounted these outside my sailboat, and it will take more time to know how well...
Good for the price
Bought these for the external on my camper, look great, nouns decent with the low watt camper system.
Gets the job done.
Plenty of power. The sound is for a moment bright for my taste, but for the price a fine speaker. Easy to install in my boat in the old speaker holes.
WOW, these are great.
I installed these on the aft deck of my boat, and they work wonderfully. They look good, but more importantly, they nouns great. I would buy these again, and have.
