This is absolutely the worst car owner that we have had. We went through rain and everything surrounded by it got soaked! The description said waterproof, where does that come into play!
I used this cargo possessor to move across country. It ripped along the seams and my belongings were flying out onto the open road.
I would not recommend this product.
I recently bought this product for a trip to Florida. It had cheap straps to attach it, so supplementary straps are needed. It happened to rain during our drive, upon our arrival in Florida it was resembling a kiddie pool filled with water! Everything got soaked, not simply damp. The plastic had already started to wear to the point that there were holes contained by the carrier. I would not recommend this product and it is being returned!
Lasted 1000 miles with precipitation
and didn't get anything wet. Able to put in 4 luggage bags & 2 take bags. Did not need to purchase anything extra.
